Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026
This policy explains how Platinum Programming LLC (“Blockyard”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use Blockyard, and when you visit a site built on Blockyard. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text), name, and the business details you enter during setup.
- Site content: the pages, text, images and files you add to your sites.
- AI requests: the descriptions and instructions you give the AI site builder, and what it generates.
- Messages: what you send us by email, including plan requests and support questions, and billing details we need to invoice you.
- Technical information: basic logs our hosting providers keep when you use Blockyard (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested), used for security and fixing errors.
2. Visitors to sites built on Blockyard
When someone visits a site built on Blockyard, we count the visit so the site owner can see how many views their site gets. We store only daily totals per site, not a record of individual visitors. To avoid counting the same person twice in a day, the site sets a first-party cookie that expires after about 36 hours.
If a visitor sends a message through a site's contact or quote form, we store it so the site owner can read it, and may email it to the addresses the owner chose. The site owner decides what their forms collect and what they do with it; we handle those messages on their behalf. Questions about a specific site's use of your information should go to that business.
3. Free mockups
Sometimes we prepare a free website mockup for a business before they've contacted us. To do that, we use publicly available business information, such as the business name, contact details, services and photos from its existing website or listings. If we've made a mockup for your business and you'd like us to delete it and the information behind it, contact us and we will.
4. How we use information
- to run Blockyard, host and publish your sites, and keep your account secure;
- to generate site drafts with AI when you ask us to;
- to build and edit sites for you on Done for you;
- to reply to you, send invoices, and tell you about changes to your account or these policies;
- to find and fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember which of our industry brands you're using, plus the visit-count cookie on published sites described above. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Blockyard, and only what they need to do their job:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage (servers in Canada);
- Vercel: website hosting and content delivery;
- Turso: database hosting for site data;
- OpenAI: generating content when you use the AI builder;
- Resend: sending form-notification emails, when a site owner turns them on.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to it.
7. Where information is stored
We're based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States, Canada and other countries. By using Blockyard, you understand your information may be transferred to and stored in those places.
8. How long we keep information
We keep your account information and site content while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete its data from our live systems; copies in backups are removed as those backups expire. We may keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
9. Your choices and rights
You can download a copy of your data and delete your account from your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls that keep each business's data separate, and encrypted storage for sensitive settings. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
11. Children
Blockyard is for businesses and isn't intended for children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email or in the product before they take effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
13. Contact
